Ultrawide Monitor Arm

Ultrawide Monitor Arms for 49 and 57 Inch Curved Screens

A standard monitor arm is rated for a 27 inch office screen. Ultrawide panels weigh far more and cantilever much further from the desk edge, so they need a higher-capacity arm, a stronger tilt joint and a wider VESA plate. Ergox stocks heavy-duty ultrawide monitor arms rated to 20kg at 49 inches and 27kg at 57 inches, dispatched from our Australian warehouse.

Every arm below is designed for 1000R curved panels and suits the Samsung Odyssey G9, Neo G9, CRG9 and CHG9 family. If your display uses a recessed or non-standard mounting pattern, add the matching VESA adaptor.

How to Choose an Ultrawide Monitor Arm

1. Match the arm's weight capacity to your screen

Weigh your monitor without its original stand. Many budget arms advertise ultrawide or heavy duty while only holding 10kg, which is enough for a small 34 inch panel but not a 49 or 57 inch screen at full extension. An undersized arm sags, loses tilt hold and can drop the display. Always choose a capacity comfortably above your screen's actual weight.

2. Confirm your VESA pattern

Most ultrawide panels use 75 x 75mm or 100 x 100mm VESA. The largest 57 inch screens may require 100 x 200mm, 200 x 100mm or 200 x 200mm. Check your monitor's mounting pattern before ordering.

3. Account for the curve radius

A 1000R curved panel places more weight further forward than a flat screen of the same size. Choose an arm with an optimised tilt joint rather than a standard office arm if your screen is strongly curved.

4. Decide between desk, pole and wall mounting

Desk clamp and grommet arms suit most setups. Pole-mounted arms add height for stacked or two-screen ultrawide configurations. Wall mounting frees the desktop completely where the desk edge cannot take the load.
