Mobile Drafting Stools on Castors

A drafting stool on castors lets you move along a workbench, move between stations, or step back from a task without standing up. Both models here use a gas-lift column with a foot ring and lockable castors, and are available in black or brown.

1. Set the seat height to the work surface

The gas lift covers a range of working heights, which suits a raised drafting table, a standing desk used at stool height, or a shared clinic workstation.

2. Use the foot ring

On a tall stool your feet will not reach the floor. The foot ring gives you somewhere to rest them and supports a better seated posture than letting them hang.

3. Check the castors suit the floor

Lockable castors hold the stool steady once you are positioned. On a hard floor, check the wheel type against the surface to avoid marking.
